About Orientation Program

Second day has started with a game called Icebreakers Game Taryan mam instructor for that game, the game rule was, we had to “create a picture and it represent our-self”. All 22 fellows has drown their own ideas about their representation, after that we all presented it in our own way. I draw about myself in three different pictures and explained.
Those few pictures are eye (I want to donate my eye after my death), lotus (it represents our nation I love my INDIA), Hill and flowing water (I want to flow like river and reach to sea).
After that Taryan collected our expectations - from “Deshpande fellowship programme”, from “staff” members, from “Self”. These three made all the fellows to think about in whole fellowship programme what efforts we have to put towards reach our goal.
Among 12 Sand Box fellows 11 from USA, 1 from UK. In those three fellows came and met us, those are -
1. Rebecca Kline (BAIF).
2. Lesley (Water literacy foundation).
3. Liza (Vidya poshak).
We took information about their work experience in different organizations. They shared what are the challenges they faced, we clarified our doubts, and our discussion was good.

Before lunch we gave our introduction through chart. Sand box fellows and NGO representatives observed my chart. This moment is unforgettable for me because first time such a different passion I introduced myself.


After lunch we visited to jail in jail COHORT II fellows has performed leadership activities, we performed skits and after completing, jailor has appreciated and he gave a suggestion to perform this kind activities in Dharwad jail also.
Night we had our dinner with Deshpande Staff members, one memorable day end with memorable events.
