SCHOOL BASED LEADERSHIP ACTIVITY

SCHOOL BASED ACTIVITIES

On saturday FEB 14th 2009 Fatima, Lata, Malini and I planned and as our plan we all got ready at 9:00 a.m. and went out to convert our activity in action.

I. "URDU MEDIUM SCHOOL"

First we started our Leadership activity in urdu medium school. This school has started in the year 1935, and it has Ist std. to IVrt std. these classes are conducting in MOSQUE, and there is only one room and all the classes conduct there.

The school is lacking in infrastructure, it doesn’t have building, and in that area building construction work stopped in the ending stage. Since 20 years Hindu teacher and since 6 years Muslim teacher working together. We have visited to that building and school teacher said, “We fought for school building and approached to SDMC, community people but they dint take care for this issue, so we have been adjusting with these situations” but it is a big harm to children future. Because all children has to sit in a single room and it is not convenient to teach them.

We played the re-creational games and sang songs by those children’s.

As a follower I got different kind of experience in URDU school. First time I entered in URDU medium school and their prayer system and in their language DUVA and these all new for me.

II. “Creating creative thing”

We all went to Govt. school near Unkal Lake and first we consulted to school teacher and introduced our self after that explained our intention to them. They gave permission to perform our activities.

WE gathered Vth, IVth and VIIth Children in hall for performing the activity, we taught them about doll making by using row material, how can we create things? They amazed by that doll and they told that, in home they will try to make it and show it to their teacher.
